Mawa (Milk Solids), pistachio powder, wheat flour, sugar, butter, yoghurt, baking powder, baking soda. topped with almonds, cashews, pistachios and dried rose petals.

This cake was exactly what I needed for the festive season. While planning my Diwali hampers, I did not want to add basic mithai, coz that's what everyone does. But I wanted it to be something that tasted mithai-ish and not lose touch to the desi flavors of the festive times. Just then Simer launched her Bridgerton cake, and the look was EXACTLY what i wanted. The cake was beyond delicious.
