If your order is for a special occasion, we recommend scheduling collection or delivery a day earlier. Unexpected delays (such as traffic congestion, accidents, or road closures) can sometimes occur, and having your desserts in advance ensures they’re ready for your celebration.

We offer a 2-hour delivery window for an additional fee.

⚠️ Important Terms for On-Demand Delivery

By selecting On-Demand Delivery at checkout, you agree to the following:

  • Tracking: You’ll receive a shipping notification email with a tracking link once your order is booked for delivery. We may book the delivery in advance to secure a driver, but the actual delivery will take place during your selected time window.
  • Recipient required: Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address during your selected window to receive the order.
  • Driver wait time: The driver will wait up to 5 minutes at the address. If he can’t reach you and no one is available, the order will be returned.

  • Extended wait: If you ask the driver to wait longer, it is up to the driver to decide based on their schedu le. If they agree, a waiting fee of $10 per 10 minutes will apply, charged separately.
  • Return Fees: If your order is returned due to reasons such as no answer, incorrect address, or access issues, our delivery partner charges a return fee of 1.5 times the original delivery charge. This is passed on to you at cost— even if you later choose to pick up the order from Eastwood.

    If you request redelivery, both the return fee and a new delivery charge will be payable.

Your Responsibility: If you won’t be at the address, please make sure someone else — like a neighbour, friend, or family member — is available to receive the delivery. If no one is there and the order is returned, we don’t automatically send it out again — you’ll need to request a redelivery (return fees & redelivery charges apply).

You can also choose Authority to Leave (ATL) when you get the delivery notification email or SMS. Please mention exactly where the driver should leave your order. A photo will be provided once it’s delivered.

⚠️ Important: If you select ATL, neither EatWithSimer nor the delivery company is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft after the order is dropped off.

We offer two postal shipping options: Standard Post for NSW customers and Express Post for Australia-wide deliveries.

Express Post (Australia-wide)

Need it fast? Express Post is the best option for all Australian states and is required for orders outside NSW or for time-sensitive deliveries.

Your parcel will be sent on the shipping date you choose (Monday–Wednesday dispatch only). Delivery usually takes 1–2 business days in metro areas after dispatch.

⚠️ Important Terms for Postal Shipping

By choosing Postal Shipping (Express or Standard), you agree to the following:

  • Dispatch days: Parcels are sent on the dispatch date you select on the cart page. During peak seasons (e.g. Diwali, Rakhi), dispatch may be delayed by up to 1 day.
  • Courier behaviour: Couriers do not call ahead, ring doorbells repeatedly, or follow custom instructions such as “call before coming” or “leave with reception.” Deliveries are made according to their standard process only. Please track your parcel using the provided link for updates.
  • Timeframes: Express Post usually arrives in 1–2 business days in metro areas after dispatch, and in eligible postcodes it will arrive the next business day. Standard Post within NSW typically takes 2–5 business days after dispatch, though metro NSW deliveries often arrive sooner. For regional NSW, we strongly recommend choosing Express Post for faster and more reliable delivery.
  • No guaranteed dates: Postal Delivery timeframes are not guaranteed. If you need your order by a specific date, please select Express Post. Express is faster and may deliver the next business day in eligible postcodes, though Australia Post may update this list without notice.
  • Tracking: You’ll receive a tracking link by email once your order is booked with our delivery partner. Sometimes this notification is sent a day before dispatch, but your parcel will be shipped on the dispatch date you selected during checkout.

  • Address accuracy: Please ensure the delivery address is complete and correct (including unit number, level, company name, and access notes). Incorrect or incomplete addresses may cause delays, redirects or returns. As our products are perishable, such delays can compromise their quality. EatWithSimer cannot be held responsible for any loss or spoilage caused by address errors.
  • Authority to Leave (ATL): All parcels are sent with ATL by default. This means the courier may leave your parcel in a safe location at the delivery address if no one is available to receive it. EatWithSimer is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage once the parcel has been recorded as delivered by the shipping company.
  • Missed Delivery & Collection: If the courier cannot find a safe place to leave your parcel and no one is home, a collection card will be left. It is your responsibility to collect your order the same day or as soon as possible the next day, as some items may spoil if not collected promptly. EatWithSimer is not responsible for any spoilage or loss resulting from delayed collection.
  • Address redirection: Once your order has been dispatched, any redirection requests made directly with shipping partner may cause delays. As our products are perishable, such delays can affect quality. We cannot accept responsibility for issues caused by customer-initiated address changes.
  • Damage/loss in transit: In rare circumstances, parcels may arrive damaged despite our careful packing. Once handed to a third-party courier, the delivery is managed by them. If any issues arise, we’ll be here to assist and support you through the courier’s investigation or claims process. Please contact us immediately if this occurs so we can help lodge a claim on your behalf.
